Pamela Bach, an actress who featured on "Baywatch" and was married to its star David Hasselhoff for over two decades, has died. She was 62.

She was discovered dead at her home on Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office.

According to TMZ, Bach's relatives discovered her inside the Los Angeles residence on March 5 with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, and she was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Law enforcement officials informed the newspaper that the "Knight Rider" star's loved ones "had not heard from her" and had visited the home after becoming increasingly worried about her well-being. The house was locked when they arrived.

According to sources, there was no message discovered at the scene.

Hasselhoff married Bach in 1989, after splitting from his first wife, Catherine Hickland. He and Bach had two children: Taylor and Hayley.  During their 2006 divorce, Bach accused Hasselhoff of domestic abuse. The actor married his current wife, Hayley Roberts, in 2018.

“Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff,” a statement from David Hasselhoff read. "We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time."

Bach played Kaye Morgan on "Baywatch" for the whole series' run and appeared in an episode of Hasselhoff's show "Knight Rider" in 1985.

Bach was a big figure in the acting industry, having acted in the hit film "Rumble Fish" in 1983 and on many TV shows, notably "Baywatch," where she portrayed Kaye Morgan for ten years.

She has also appeared in "Sirens," "The Young and the Restless," "The Fall Guy," and "T.J. Hooker."
