A release date has been set for the film "Killers of the Flower Moon"

The highly anticipated new film "Killers of the Flower Moon" from Academy Award–winning director Martin Scorsese will debut in theaters in the month of October.

Jesse Plemons, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Lily Gladstone are among the film's cast members. Robert De Niro also appears.

"Killers" is a western criminal drama mashup with the implausible love story of Ernest Burkhart (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) and Mollie Kyle (played by Gladstone) at its center. The film is based on a true story.

According to the official summary of the movie, "at the turn of the 20th century, oil brought a fortune to the Osage Nation, who became some of the richest people in the world overnight," the Osage Nation became some of the richest people in the world overnight. "The wealth of these Native Americans almost immediately attracted white interlopers, who manipulated, extorted, and stole as much Osage money as they could before resorting to murder."

The day that the movie will be released, which is going to be October 6 in some cinemas and October 20 everywhere else, before it becomes available to stream worldwide on Apple TV+
