According to police, 'Parasite' actor Lee Sun-kyun was discovered dead

Lee Sun-kyun, a South Korean actor best known for his role in the Academy Award-winning film "Parasite," has died, according to Seoul police.

In a statement, the police said they received a missing person report from Lee's manager on their hotline. On Wednesday morning, Lee was discovered in his car.

Lee received accolades for his portrayal of Park Dong-ik, the Park family's father, in "Parasite."
