Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen declared their divorce last year
Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen made a joint announcement via their respective Instagram Stories on Friday, revealing that they initiated divorce proceedings at some point last year.
"After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down. In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage," they said in statements shared on their Instagram Stories.
"We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change," they added. "We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy."
The couple, aged 48 and 52 respectively, tied the knot on March 15, 2010, and are parents to three children.
Baron Cohen is renowned for his roles in the "Borat" movies and gained praise for his performance in the 2020 Netflix film "The Trial of the Chicago 7."
Fisher has appeared in comedic hits such as "Confessions of a Shopaholic" and "Wedding Crashers." Her recent work includes the television series "Wolf Like Me" and the 2020 film "Blithe Spirit."
