Rap megastar Kendrick Lamar performed at the Super Bowl LIX halftime show on Sunday, while the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles competed for the championship on the gridiron.

However, the Grammy Award-winning rapper was not the only one who performed on Sunday night at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

The pregame entertainment included performances by Jon Batiste, Trombone Shorty, Lauren Daigle, and Ledisi. All of them are Louisiana natives.

Kendrick Lamar was chosen to lead Apple Music's Super Bowl LIX halftime performance in September.

This is hardly Lamar's first appearance on the halftime show stage. He appeared in the Super Bowl 2022 as part of an ensemble show that included Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, and 50 Cent.

Lamar was joined on stage by special guest SZA. The two are preparing to go on a 19-city North American tour that begins in April. The pair has cooperated on the songs "30 for 30," "Luther," "Gloria," "All the Stars," and "Doves in the Wind."
