Lil Nas X says he was hospitalized for partial face paralysis

Lil Nas X said that he was hospitalized after losing control of his right side of the face.
In a series of videos shared to social media from his hospital bed on Monday night, the Grammy Award-winning "Old Town Road" musician stated that he was experiencing partial facial paralysis. In the video commentary, the 26-year-old stated that he had "lost control of the right side of my face."
“This is me doing a full smile right now by the way,” he said jokingly in the video. "It's like, What the f**k? I can’t even laugh right bro.”
Lil Nas X appeared to be in high spirits as he shared another video to his Instagram Stories, zooming in on one side of his face and stating, "we normal over here" then rotating to the other side and saying, "we get crazy over here."
Many reviewers believe Lil Nas X has Bell's palsy, which causes muscular paralysis on one side of the face, according to the Mayo Clinic. The disorder is generally only transient and causes one side of the face to seem drooping.
However, Bell's palsy, a rather frequent illness in which the facial nerve gets irritated, can cause temporary facial paralysis.
Lil Nas X reassured followers on his Instagram story that he is well and that they should "stop being sad" for him.
According to an Instagram Stories video posted on April 15, Lil Nas X looked to have returned home. While he did not reveal his diagnosis, he assured followers that he will be OK.
"Imma look funny for a lil bit but that's it," he wrote in another post on his Instagram Stories. He hasn't shared his official diagnosis.
