The 2024 Super Bowl halftime show will have Usher as the main performer

Usher is excited to headline Super Bowl LVIII's halftime concert.

On Sunday, Roc Nation and the NFL announced that Usher will perform during the Apple Music halftime performance at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

“Performing at a Super Bowl is a lifetime honor. On Sunday, Usher stated, “I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me,” thanking fans and everyone who made this chance possible. I’ll see you soon.”

In his Las Vegas concert series “Usher – My Way The Residency,” the singer performs his broad R&B repertoire. After debuting in 1994 with “Usher,” he has sold over 80 million records and won eight Grammys.

His hit songs include “U Got It Bad,” “U Don't Have to Call,” and “Nice & Slow,” among others.

Usher sang “OMG” with the Black Eyed Peas at the 2011 Super Bowl halftime show, but 2024 will be his first time headlining.

The 2023 Rihanna halftime concert was the most-watched ever. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar hosted Super Bowl LVI's halftime concert in 2022.

CBS airs the Super Bowl on February 11, 2024.
