Anthony Anderson will host the Emmys presentation after the strike
Anthony Anderson will host January's strike-delayed Emmy Awards after many nominations.
Fox confirmed Anderson will host the Jan. 15 presentation, which recognizes the finest TV shows, performances, and other achievements.
Due to the actors and writers strikes this year, the Emmys have shifted into Hollywood's awards season from September.
HBO shows “The White Lotus” and “The Last of Us” also received many nominations for their last seasons, including “Succession” which leads the pack.
His ABC series “black-ish” role earned Anderson seven leading comic actor nominations. It ended its historic eight-season stint in 2022.
Anderson previously hosted the NAACP Image Awards for eight years.
Emmys will show live from Los Angeles' Peacock Theater on Martin Luther King Jr. Day at 8 p.m. Eastern and stream on Hulu the next day.
