Fourth straight Premier League title for Manchester City in 2023/24

On the last day of an exciting Premier League season, Manchester City defeated rivals Arsenal 3-1 to clinch an unprecedented fourth consecutive English top flight title. The crowd transformed the pitch into a sea of blue.

Phil Foden, the player of the season, scored twice in the first half to generate a celebratory atmosphere in the sun at the Etihad Stadium. Mohammed Kudus then produced a magnificent bicycle kick just before halftime to temporarily bring West Ham into the match.

But Rodri's low free kick from outside the box in the 59th minute clinched the win, giving Pep Guardiola's team an incredible sixth championship in seven years.

When Foden sent the ball into the upper corner in the second minute and finished off a fantastic team move to score the second in the eighteenth, his already outstanding season took a whole new turn.

"It's so hard to put into words what we've done today," Foden said. "No team has ever done it. You see what it means to the fans and it means to us. Working all year for this moment.

At just 23, the midfielder has won six Premier League titles and scored 19 goals in the league this season, making him one of England's strongest prospects for the next Euros in Germany.

Saturday's FA Cup final between City and Manchester United gives them a chance to capture both titles.
