3 dead, 3 injured in Shooting Near Fredericksburg in Virginia

A shooting on a home street just outside Fredericksburg, Va., on Tuesday killed three people and wounded three others, according to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office.
At about 5:30 p.m., law enforcement received 911 calls about a shooting at a town house complex in Spotsylvania County, about 65 miles southwest of Washington, D.C., said Major Elizabeth Scott, spokesperson for the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office.
“We still have an active, ongoing investigation with no suspects in custody,” Major Scott said. Residents who live on or near Olde Greenwich Circle were urged to stay indoors.
The victims' ages weren't known. According to a statement from the sheriff's office, the injured people were transported to surrounding hospitals. A bystander's camera captured what seemed to be two bodies covered in white sheets several yards apart on the pavement outside a row of residences.
Scott stated that detectives at the site, together with Virginia State Police and Fredericksburg police, were attempting to determine what occurred.
"Multiple investigators are still there trying to determine who the suspects were and what the motive is," she said.
