Shooting at a New York City subway station results in one dead and five injured
Authorities reported that a shooting occurred at a New York City subway station during Monday's evening commute, resulting in one fatality and injuries to five others.
The shooter, who opened fire around 4:38 p.m., remains at large according to police.
A man in his 30s lost his life in the incident. Four of the injured individuals were described as having serious injuries by a Fire Department spokesperson.
The shooting incident took place at approximately 4:38 p.m. at a station located in the Bronx, situated at the junction of Mount Eden and Jerome Avenues.
