Continuing Israeli military action in Rafah results in at least 27 deaths

Since Monday night, Rafah has seen the deaths of at least 27 persons, six of them women and nine of them children.

According to reports, a house in an area east of Rafah (al Geneina) was targeted by the Israeli force on Tuesday, resulting in several fatalities and injuries.

According to the reports, 17 injured persons and the bodies of three children, ages four months, six, and eight, were transported to the Kuwait Specialized Hospital.

Late on Monday night, Israel launched a military assault in Rafah after claiming that the cease-fire that Hamas had agreed to was "far from" satisfying Israel's demands.
