Comedian Ken Flores died at the age of 28

Ken Flores, a beloved comedian, died at the age of 28.

Ken Flores, known by his family as Kenyi Flores, was discovered dead at his home Tuesday afternoon. No cause of death was immediately given.

Flores' family announced his unexpected death on his Instagram page. "It is with great sadness that we confirm the untimely passing of our friend, brother, and son, Kenyi Flores," the post read. "Please respect our privacy at this time as we are all shocked and devastated by this loss." A cause of death has not been made public.

Flores, who lived in Chicago, was known for his uncensored and unabashed comedy, which helped him build a large following on TikTok and Instagram. His comic presence spread across numerous media, including performances on Netflix Is a Daily Joke in 2020, Todd N Tyler Radio Empire in 2021, and Nonna's Basement Podcast in 2022.

Flores had just begun his Butterfly Effect tour, including gigs in Portland, Albuquerque, and the Atlanta region earlier this month. His next event is slated for January 30 in Phoenix.
