Eddie Murphy's son and Martin Lawrence's daughter are married.

Murphy said in an appearance on Thursday's broadcast of "The Jennifer Hudson Show" that his son, Eric Murphy, and Lawrence's daughter, Jasmin Lawrence, "ran off and got married."

"Actually they got married two weeks ago," Murphy revealed. "They went off — everybody was making their big wedding plans, and then they decided they wanted to do something quiet with just the two of them."

He also joked about Lawrence's economic relief after the elopement.

“Yeah, we’re in-laws,” Murphy said. “He don’t have to pay for the big wedding now.”

It's unclear whether the newlyweds were aware that Murphy would mention their wedding on national television. Eric Murphy, 35, and Jasmin Lawrence, 29, did not post about the private ceremony on their social media profiles.

The pair confirmed their engagement in November. Murphy said the plan is to instead have a party to celebrate the nuptials.

The older Murphy and Lawrence are longstanding friends who costarred in the 1992 film "Boomerang" and the 1999 feature "Life."

Murphy told Hudson he and Lawrence have several ideas for reuniting on the big screen, including a dream of Murphy’s to remake the 1963 comedy “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.”
