A United Airlines aircraft from Houston to New York was evacuated on Sunday morning due to engine fire.

Flight 1382 was about to depart George Bush Intercontinental Airport for LaGuardia Airport just after 8:30 a.m. when the crew “received an indication about one engine and halted the takeoff while still on the runway,” United said in a statement.

According to Houston Airports, the Houston Fire Department arrived on the site to investigate as part of safety practice and began assisting passengers in deplaning.

According to officials, no injuries occurred, and all passengers deplaned and were transported back to the terminal by bus. There were 104 passengers and five crew members in all.

The customers were rescheduled for a trip on Sunday afternoon, the airline stated.

The US Federal Aviation Administration said it will look into the incident, which happened at 8:35 a.m. local time at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

The Airbus A319, which was scheduled to fly for New York's La Guardia airport, had 104 passengers and five staff members, according to the airline.
