The Federal Aviation Administration is looking into a small plane that crashed off a runway in North Bend, Oregon, and into the sea, injuring five people.

Emergency teams from various local agencies reacted to a report of a crash near a runway at Southwest Oregon Regional Airport in North Bend, Oregon, soon after 6 a.m., the airport said. Officials reported that a 2019 HondaJet HA-420 carrying a pilot and four passengers slid 100 feet off one of the airport's runways and into Coos Bay.

The airport stated in a statement that all five individuals onboard, including the pilot, had minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital via ambulance.
