Multiple individuals were injured Monday after a Delta Airlines jet was engaged in a "incident" at Toronto Pearson International Airport, according to officials.

The airport stated that it was aware of "an incident upon landing" involving the Delta plane, which arrived from Minneapolis.

The Association of Flight Attendants-CWA confirmed that the flight was Delta Air Lines Endeavor flight 4819, and issued the following statement: "AFA crew were working this flight. Reports are there are no fatalities. Please do not speculate on this incident as everyone works to gather information and support those involved."

Emergency responders were on the site, and all passengers and crew members had been accounted for, the airport stated in a social media post shortly before 3 p.m.

According to Lawrence Saindon, a superintendent with Peel Regional Paramedic Services, at least eight individuals were hurt, with one in severe condition.

Saindon stated that the person in critical condition was flown to a nearby trauma hospital.

The FAA has closed all runways at Toronto Pearson International Airport.
