A plane crash was reported in northeast Philadelphia

According to authorities, an aircraft crashed on Friday evening near Roosevelt Mall in Northeast Philadelphia.

Police reported a probable plane accident just after 6 p.m. near Roosevelt Mall, which is situated at Roosevelt Boulevard and Cottman Avenue.

According to police, there were several victims, and the mall was evacuated.

Police said they located two persons on the plane. Police reported several other injuries on the ground. Other reports state that many residences "are on fire in the area of Cottman Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard" as emergency teams hurry to the scene.
