A large fire broke out at the SPS Technologies building in Abington Township, Pennsylvania, prompting firefighters to respond.

Late Monday night, a fire broke out at the company's headquarters on 301 Highland Avenue. The Standard Pressed Steel Company, which was formed in Jenkintown in 1903, is a provider of aircraft fasteners and fittings.

The Philadelphia Inquirer also reported explosions inside the facility.

Officials also verified that everyone inside the building is safe, but did not divulge whether anyone was hurt.

Aerial footage shows enormous flames engulfing the warehouse and extending into the sky. The roof also emitted a large amount of smoke.

As the fire blares, Abington Township Police and Abington Township's Ward 6 Commissioner Jeffrey Browne warned nearby residents to stay inside due to the 'dangerous smoke and air quality concerns.'

A shelter-in-place order was also issued just after 11:30 p.m. for households within a half-mile radius.

Due to the incident near Glenside Station, SEPTA stopped its Lansdale/Doylestown and Warminster regional train lines.

The fire's cause is still under investigation.
