Millions of Americans are expected to attend protests today in what organizers predict will be the strongest display of opposition to President Donald Trump’s administration since he took office in January.

Organized on June 14, the same day the military procession in Washington, DC, are more than 2,000 "No Kings" activities against President Donald Trump and his policies.

More than 2,000 demonstrations across all 50 states have been planned through the “No Kings” movement, which organizers say seeks to reject “authoritarianism, billionaire-first politics, and the militarization of our democracy.”

The mobilization directly responds to Trump's military procession tonight commemorating the 250th anniversary of the US Army, which falls on his 79th birthday.

A large crowd of demonstrators gathered Saturday morning at Liberty Plaza in front of the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta, rallying ahead of a lineup of 13 scheduled speakers that includes activists and political leaders.

No kings in America!” the crowd chanted in unison while carrying American flags and signs, such as one that said, “Our vets did not fight for fascism.”

Protesters voiced strong opposition to President Donald Trump’s military parade in Washington, DC, criticizing it as a misuse of public funds.
