USA Basketball revealed today the roster for the 2024 USA Women’s National Team, which will compete in the Olympic Games Paris 2024 from July 26 to August 11, 2024.

The team features 12 athletes, all with significant USA Basketball experience, including Diana Taurasi (Phoenix Mercury), who will make an unprecedented sixth consecutive Olympic appearance, and nine athletes who have previously won at least one Olympic gold medal.

Taurasi, a veteran of five Olympics, holds the record for the most games played by any women’s player in USA Basketball Olympic history with 38 games and is the second-highest scorer with 414 points, just behind Lisa Leslie’s 488 points.

Joining Taurasi on the 2024 team are Napheesa Collier, Kahleah Copper, Chelsea Gray, Brittney Griner, Sabrina Ionescu, Jewell Loyd, Kelsey Plum, Breanna Stewart, Alyssa Thomas, A’ja Wilson, and Jackie Young.

Absent from the roster is Caitlin Clark, the NCAA's all-time leading scorer and No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever, who has been a standout in the league yet did not make the 12-player U.S. team for Paris.

The team will face the WNBA All-Stars in Phoenix on July 20, then play Germany in London on July 23. The U.S. women will begin their Olympic campaign against Japan, the Tokyo silver medalists, on July 29, with subsequent games against Belgium on August 1 and Germany on August 4. The knockout stages start on August 7.
