A tech CEO aged 26 was found dead in his Baltimore apartment today
Authorities in Baltimore are looking into the passing of a 26-year-old CEO whose achievements in the workplace landed her a spot on Forbes' 30 under 30 list.
The CEO and creator of EcoMap Technologies, Pava LaPere, was discovered dead in an apartment on Monday at 11:30 a.m. with what seemed to be "blunt-force trauma," according to the police.
Cops said that homicide detectives are looking into the deaths.
Police say that not long before she was found dead, a missing person report had been made.
In order to "digitize ecosystems, ensuring anyone can easily access the information they need, so ecosystems can be as equitable, efficient, & effective as possible," LaPere's startup, EcoMap Technologies, describes itself as a technology company.
According to Forbes, LaPere, a Johns Hopkins graduate, had a team of thirty with customers that included The Aspen Institute, Meta, the WXR Fund, and the T. Rowe Price Foundation. She was listed in the 30 under 30 in 2023.
