The attack on a concert hall in Moscow has claimed 139 lives, according to a Russian official

A Russian official announced on Monday that two more victims of the horrific attack that occurred at a concert hall in Moscow on Friday have been officially confirmed dead, bringing the total number of victims to at least 139.

The head of Russia's Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, stated in a live TV broadcast that "the initial results of the investigation indicate that the attack was carefully planned and prepared."

139 people have died. Two perished in hospitals, and 137 perished instantly.
