From Gaza, 79 American nationals have entered Egypt

The White House announced on Thursday that 79 American citizens and their families were among those who had entered Egypt through the Rafah border crossing so far, as more foreign nationals began to leave Gaza.

John Kirby, the National Security Council's Coordinator for Strategic Communications, revealed the numbers during a press conference on Thursday. He stated that five Americans had entered Egypt on Wednesday, and that 74 US citizens and family members had crossed the border on Thursday. Kirby emphasized further that the numbers are "changing in real time."
