Producer says ‘Barbie’ stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling will ‘do right’ in ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ prequel

After the huge success of “Barbie,” Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling are scheduled to star in the upcoming “Ocean’s Eleven” prequel.

Josey McNamara, the film's producer, told GamesRadar on Tuesday that Robbie and Gosling will “do right by the franchise.”

According to him, “I’m excited for people to experience it when it’s ready,” adding, “They’re wonderful together. Any additional projects they can do would be great.”

The 1960s Monte Carlo-set prequel is being produced by Robbie's LuckyChap Entertainment and directed by “Austin Powers” and “Bombshell” director Jay Roach.

George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, and Julia Roberts starred in “Ocean’s Eleven” in 2001. It spawned three sequels, including “Ocean’s Eight” with Sandra Bullock, Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, and others.

Over $1 billion was earned by Greta Gerwig's “Barbie” film. It leads 2023's box office.
