Iran did not notify the US of the specifics of its strikes against Israel, according to a State Department official

On Monday, State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller stated that the United States was not informed by Iran about the specifics of its strikes against Israel. Miller noted that while Iran had made public and private statements indicating their intentions to take action, they did not share any details regarding the extent or timing of the response.

Miller further explained that despite various discussions with foreign counterparts throughout the previous week, the United States did not receive any notification of an impending attack or insight into the potential targets.
