The yellow Penske rental truck collided with several posts and rolled onto its side before being jammed between a pole and a building, according to officials.

According to a police spokeswoman, at least two individuals are in critical condition, and firemen utilized extrication tools to extricate the trapped driver from the truck's cab. There are also two persons with non-life-threatening injuries and two others who were treated on the site.

The event occurred about 12:40 p.m. in Boston's Chinatown section, on Harrison Avenue near Kneeland Street, approximately half a mile from downtown Boston.
