On November 8, a third Republican presidential debate will take place in Miami
On November 8, in Miami, there will be the third Republican presidential debate. The contenders must meet the most stringent qualifications yet in order to participate on stage.
To be eligible for the debate, candidates must receive 70,000 unique contributions and score at least 4% in several surveys, according to a statement released by the Republican National Committee on Friday. The Republican Party has not yet revealed the identities of the moderators.
Days before the contenders square off for their second primary debate, the RNC released the news. Donald Trump, the former president, did not attend the first debate and will not attend the second as well. Conversely, he is scheduled to visit with union members in Michigan, both past and present, while the debate on September 27 will be held in the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.
Governors Doug Burgum of North Dakota and Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas both took part in the first debate, but it's unclear if they'll be at the second.
Higher-performing candidates are positioned closer to center stage, and the candidates are grouped on stage according to their performance in RNC-mandated polls.
