Zelensky calls on the world to react to Russia's "latest act of terror"

On Friday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky urged the international community to respond to Russia's biggest aerial assault on Ukraine since February 2022.

"The world must address this latest act of terror. Many leaders have supported Ukraine and Ukrainians today, and I am grateful "Zelensky thanked those who helped boost his country's air defenses in his daily address.

Ukraine requested an emergency UN Security Council meeting Friday.

Zelensky promised to "strengthen our air defense" and "bring the war" back to Russia.

After Friday's aerial attacks in many parts of Ukraine, the Ukrainian president thanked emergency services and staff for their rescue efforts.

The attacks damaged civilian infrastructure and killed 31 people.
