The Israeli military reports that its ground forces have arrived at Gaza's coast

Israel announced Sunday that its soldiers had reached Gaza's coast as part of its ground operations expansion.

In a news release, the IDF said its 36th Division reached the coast to encircle Hamas and strike Gaza targets.

The statement stated that division soldiers killed terrorists in close-quarter combat at 50 targets in the last 12 hours, including combat zones, operational residences, outposts, military positions, and underground infrastructure.
