According to the defense minister, the Israeli military is making progress in Khan Younis
According to the nation's minister of defense, the Israeli military operation in the southern Gaza region of Khan Younis is "progressing and yielding impressive results," as of Thursday.
According to a ministry statement, Yoav Gallant declared, "We are achieving our missions in Khan Younis, and we will also reach Rafah and eliminate terror elements that threaten us."
An aid organization claims that there has been fierce fighting in the southern city in recent days, especially near a hospital complex where thousands of people are seeking refuge.
Because Hamas only yields to pressure, the Israeli military's operations "targeting terrorists above and below the ground, bring us closer to enabling the return of the hostages," according to Gallant. Israel has long maintained that tunnels and military activities are being concealed by Hamas' use of hospitals and other infrastructure.
