Tallulah, Bruce Willis' daughter, claims that her father's health remains "the same"
Tallulah Willis, the daughter of Bruce Willis, is providing an update on her father's health following the actor's diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia (FTD) earlier this year.
On Wednesday's edition of "Drew Barrymore Show," Tallulah stated, "He has a really aggressive cognitive disease, a form of dementia that's very rare." She continued, "He is the same, which I think, in this regard, I've learned is the best thing you can ask for."
Since they announced in February that Bruce had been diagnosed with FTD, Heming, Moore, and his five daughters have been providing updates on his status on a regular basis.
Tallulah stated on Wednesday that it is "important" to be transparent about Bruce's condition and that her family wants to "spread awareness about FTD."
“If we can take something that we’re struggling with as a family, individually, to help other people, to turn it around, to make something beautiful about it – that’s really special for us,” she said.
FTD is a "umbrella term for a group of brain disorders that primarily affect the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain," according to the Mayo Clinic. These brain regions are typically linked to behavior, personality, and language.
