Police say US actor Christian Oliver and his two daughters died in a Caribbean plane crash
According to officials in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, American actor Christian Oliver and his two kids died in a plane crash near a tiny private island in the eastern Caribbean.
According to officials, the jet crashed Thursday just west of Petit Nevis island near Bequia on its way to adjacent St. Lucia.
The girls were named as Madita Klepser, 10, and Annik Klepser, 12, and the pilot, Robert Sachs, was also killed.
According to officials, it was not immediately obvious what caused the crash.
The 51-year-old German-born actor had scores of film and television credits, including "Speed Racer" in 2008 and "The Good German," a 2006 World War II thriller directed by Steven Soderbergh starring George Clooney and Cate Blanchett.
He played a Swiss transfer student named Brian Keller in season two of the 1990s series "Saved by the Bell: The New Class."
