A military helicopter crashes during a training flight in Mississippi, leaving two people dead
According to Governor Tate Reeves, two service members lost their lives on Friday during a training flight when the military attack helicopter crashed close to the small Mississippian town of Booneville.
Reeves posted on social media platform X, saying, "Mississippi will always be grateful for their service and we will never forget them."
The Mississippi National Guard released a statement stating that the two-seat AH-64 Apache was reported down at approximately 2:00 p.m. while conducting a routine training flight.
