Tuesday saw the highest number of aid trucks to enter Gaza, Israel says

Tuesday saw the highest number of aid trucks entering Gaza, as reported by Israel’s agency responsible for overseeing access to the region.

Israel’s Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) reported that after inspection, a total of 468 trucks carrying humanitarian aid were transported to Gaza on Tuesday.

Furthermore, Israel’s military disclosed that 303 packages containing "thousands" of meals were dropped over Gaza via air on the same day.

UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric remarked on Tuesday that while there had been an increase in the number of trucks entering Gaza in recent days, some trucks couldn't reach full capacity due to security concerns. Dujarric emphasized the necessity of evaluating various metrics for aid delivery beyond merely counting the number of trucks.
