Biden thinks today's accord should bring home more American captives

US President Joe Biden released a statement Tuesday night, following the announcement of an agreement between Israel, Hamas, and Qatar that would result in the release of some captives held in Gaza.

"I welcome the deal to secure the release of hostages taken by the terrorist group Hamas during its brutal assault against Israel on October 7th," the vice president stated in the statement.

"Today's deal should bring home additional American hostages, and I will not stop until they are all released," Biden said in a statement.
