IDF asserts that it demolished a system of tunnels in the heart of Gaza City

A "strategic terror tunnel network" was destroyed by the Israel Defense Forces on Thursday in the heart of Gaza City, according to IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari during a media briefing.

"Today's destruction of significant infrastructure deprives the Hamas terrorist organization of strategic capabilities," Hagari stated.

The IDF published multiple videos on Wednesday that it claimed depicted a network of tunnels connecting to senior Hamas leadership's homes and offices.
