Israel attacks locations in the heart of Lebanon in response to Hezbollah attacks

According to the Israel Defense Forces, Israeli fighter jets targeted two Hezbollah facilities in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley in retaliation for recent aircraft attacks aimed at the Golan Heights.

“The sites belong to Hezbollah’s aerial forces that planned and carried out various attacks against the State of Israel,” the IDF said.

Bachir Khodr, the governor of the Baalbek-Hermel Governorate, confirmed that the airstrikes hit the towns of Duris, Taraya, and Shmustar. Khodr mentioned in a social media update that there is currently no precise information available regarding casualties resulting from the airstrikes.
