After suffering an injury during MMA training, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has an ACL surgery
After suffering a knee injury during mixed martial arts training, Mark Zuckerberg revealed that he had surgery.
The CEO of Meta, the company that owns Instagram and Facebook, shared a number of photos of himself on Friday from his hospital bed, one knee braced. He claimed that during sparring, he tore his ACL, necessitating the surgery.
"Grateful for the doctors and team taking care of me." In the post, Zuckerberg stated. "I was training for a competitive MMA fight early next year, but now that's delayed a bit. Still looking forward to doing it after I recover."
Zuckerberg, one of the wealthiest persons on the planet, has become well-known lately due to his prowess in the ring. At his first Brazilian jiu-jitsu competition in May at Woodside High School on the Peninsula, the Meta CEO took home gold and silver medals.
In a 2022 interview with podcast host Joe Rogan, Zuckerberg revealed that he started training mixed martial arts during the COVID-19 pandemic and that the "primal" aspects of the sport gave him more energy to face challenges at work.
