Eva Evans, noted for her NYC TikTok videos, died at 29

At the age of 29, Eva Evans, the creator of the comedic web series "Club Rat" and a TikTok star based in New York, has passed away.

On April 21, Eva's sister Lila shared the heartbreaking news of her sister's demise via an Instagram post.

“Please share this post so that it reaches everyone it needs to,” Lila wrote. “yesterday my family received news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, caring, hilarious Eva, my beautiful sister, has died. after 24 hours, i still find myself in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance, so i know how unbelievable and hard to process this news will be.”

With a following of over 300,000 on TikTok, Evans utilized her platform to create entertaining and insightful content centered around the experiences of a young woman navigating life in New York City. One of her most beloved videos involved matching viewers with their ideal NYC neighborhoods based on their zodiac signs.

Eva is survived by her sisters Lila, Zoe, and Sofi, as well as her mother Heather. Their father, the late artist Matt Baumgardner, passed away in 2018 at the age of 63.
