Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin announced the birth of their first child on Friday

On Friday, Hailey and Justin Bieber shared the news that they had their first child.

Justin posted a picture of the infant's foot on Instagram on Friday night. With a bear emoji, Justin wrote, "Welcome home Jack Blues Bieber," as the description for the photo.

The identical picture was posted by Hailey on her Instagram story, along with the baby's name, a teddy bear, and a blue love emoji.

The couple withheld other information, such as the baby's birthdate.

For Justin, 30, and Hailey, 27, who were married in 2018, it is their first kid. Through a series of images posted on their own Instagram sites, they revealed their pregnancy in May. They shared pictures of Hailey wearing an all-white lace gown and her growing baby bulge. She was six months along at the time. In another photo, Justin was seen tenderly clinging to Hailey's belly.

Justin's smash single, "Baby," catapulted him to teenage pop stardom in 2010. He has received two Grammy Awards and had eight number-one hits.

Hailey established the skincare line Rhode and has modeled for major labels like Guess, Ralph Lauren, and Tommy Hilfiger.
