Chris Evans, who recently married Alba Baptista, claims to be "enjoying life" as a newlywed

During an appearance at New York Comic-Con (NYCC) on Saturday, the Marvel actor was seen wearing a wedding band. This marked the first time he had publicly announced that he had recently married actress Alba Baptista.

"I got married," the Marvel star announced to the crowd, gushing about how "really, really great" his recent marriage was.

He said that he had two ceremonies with Baptista: one in Baptista's native Portugal and another on the East Coast that was supposedly held on Cape Cod last month.

After describing the twin weddings as "wonderful and beautiful," he went on to say that he and Baptista have "been relaxing and enjoying life and reflecting" as newlyweds ever since.

"It takes a lot out of you, married people, but now that we've got that behind us, we've just been enjoying life," he remarked.

Since 2021, Evans and Baptista have been romantically associated.
