After allegedly being the focus of an alleged kidnapping and murder plot, Holly Willoughby departs from "This Morning"
After it was suspected that she was the target of a kidnapping and murder plan, Holly Willoughby, a well-known British television host, announced she was leaving the ITV show "This Morning."
Willoughby stated in a message on Instagram on Tuesday, "I've informed ITV today that, following 14 years, I will not be going back to 'This Morning.'"
The speaker went on, "I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has contributed to the show throughout the years. I will always be proud of the things we have accomplished together, and this is such a hard farewell. You are amazing."
Calling them "the very best company every day," Willoughby expressed her gratitude to her coworkers, the guests on the show, and the audience.
About the supposed plot against her, she said nothing. Incitement to conduct kidnapping and solicitation to commit murder were the charges brought against a British man last week, The Guardian reported.
As the inquiry progressed, Willoughby had not been on the air since Thursday.
The network regrets Willoughby's departure, according to a statement from Kevin Lygo, Managing Director, Media and Entertainment at ITV.
