"The best scenario is a tournament every month," says Tiger Woods of his "realistic" comeback to golf
In 2024, Tiger Woods hopes to play more PGA Tour golf.
"A tournament a month is ideal," he told reporters Tuesday. "I think that's realistic."
According to Taylor Zarzour on SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio on Monday, Woods was feeling better and telling friends he set five or six events as a tentative goal.
The 15-time major champion only played two events this season and withdrew from the Masters in the second round. In 2021-22, he joined three tournaments, with one withdrawal and one missed cut event.
Just before the 2023 Masters, Woods told reporters, "I don't know how many more I have in me" when asked if he's enjoying his visits to Augusta National Golf Club more.
Tiger Woods is golf's biggest star despite occasional appearances. In March 2022, he topped the tour's Player Impact Program's initial rankings and stayed there thereafter. This year, he finished second to McIlroy.
