The individual threatened police during the UEFA Euro 2024 procession in central Hamburg with a pickaxe and an incendiary device, according to a police post on the social media platform X. The incident happened in the St. Pauli neighborhood of the city. The Volkswagen Parkstadion in Hamburg will host the match between Poland and the Netherlands.
