While hundreds are reportedly killed in a bomb at a hospital in Gaza

At least 500 people are said to have died on Tuesday after an airstrike struck a hospital complex in the heart of Gaza City, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. Israeli officials, however, refute any intention to target the hospital and assert that they think a missile fired by Islamic Jihad or Hamas hit the location after it missed its aim.

After Hamas' terror assault in southern Israel, President Biden was scheduled to visit Israel on Wednesday; hours before he left, he received word of the terrible tragedy. Biden was there to offer a message of solidarity to a significant partner. Amidst the hospital catastrophe, Mr. Biden's scheduled visit to Jordan was postponed. He was supposed to meet with the leaders of Jordan, Egypt, and the Palestinian Authority.
