33 Palestinian inmates were freed from Ofer jail and brought to Ramallah, according to the Red Cross

As part of the Israel-Hamas peace agreement, 33 Palestinian detainees were freed from an Israeli jail and transferred to the West Bank, according to a statement made on Friday by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

The ICRC's Israel and Occupied Territories branch posted on X, "We have now successfully facilitated the release of 33 Palestinian detainees from Ofer prison to Ramallah." "We have managed to do so thanks to our neutral intermediary role."

According to the Israeli prison service, 39 Palestinian women and minors were freed on Friday from three prisons: Damon, Megiddo, and Ofer.
