When fighting against Hamas resumes, Israel's military will be more forceful, according to the defense minister
When Israel returns to combat against Hamas after the truce, its military will be stronger, according to Israel's defense minister.
According to Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, the operation will take place throughout the Gaza Strip.
"You've got a few days. When we return to fighting, we will use the same force and more... and we will fight across the entire (Gaza) Strip," Gallant said on Monday to a group of Israeli soldiers.
He made the remarks shortly after Qatar announced an agreement to extend the Israel-Hamas truce in Gaza by two days.
"Remember that while you're organizing, resting, and researching, your adversary is doing the same." "You'll come across something a little more prepared," Gallant predicted.
"Therefore, they will first meet the bombs of the Air Force, and after that the shells of the tanks and the artillery and the paws of the D9 (bulldozers), and finally the shooting of the infantry fighters, we will fight in the entire strip," said the secretary of state.
