The health ministry reports 23 Gazan dehydration and malnutrition deaths

The tally of individuals succumbing to dehydration and malnutrition in Gaza has surged to a minimum of 23, as per a representative of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the enclave.

Ashraf al-Qidra, a spokesperson for the health ministry, reported that three additional children passed away on Friday at Al-Shifa Hospital due to malnutrition and dehydration.

For weeks, officials from aid groups and international organizations have been cautioning about the plight of displaced Palestinians who are finding it challenging to provide sustenance to their children, with Israel imposing severe restrictions on aid deliveries. The United Nations has sounded alarms, stating that hundreds of thousands of individuals are teetering on the edge of famine.
