The coroner reports that "Euphoria" star Angus Cloud overdosed on meth, cocaine, and fentanyl by mistake
According to a Northern California coroner's office release on Thursday, actor Angus Cloud overdosed on cocaine, fentanyl, and other narcotics in July, which resulted in his death.
"Acute intoxication" brought on by the "combined effects of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and benzodiazepines" was listed as Cloud's cause of death by the Alameda County Coroner's Bureau. The overdose was an accident, the office acknowledged.
At his parents' Oakland home on July 31, the actor was pronounced deceased. Aged 25, he was.
The HBO series "Euphoria" stars Cloud as heroin dealer Fezco "Fez" O'Neill.
At the time, Cloud's family indicated in a statement that he was having difficulty dealing with his father's passing.
The knowledge that Angus is now back with his father, who was his best friend, is the only solace we have. Angus's family released a statement saying, "We hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence." Angus was upfront about his struggle with mental health.
